I am new to this blogging malarkey, but I have decided that it is a good thing to be able to tell the world stories that no one really wants to read and probably never will.  To this end, I proceed boldly, even with this knowledge. 

Where do I start?  I was thinking while I just ate my bacon and fried mushroom sammich (ketchup before you ask!) “what makes a good first blog post? and in fact – what makes a great one??”  I must admit, I haven’t got a bloody clue.  So i gave up and decided to just type what my brain farts – i suppose that isn’t a bad place to start…?

I spent most of this morning on my roof trying to temporarily repair the leakage with some willing friends (One hungover and the other revelling in beating friend 1 in squash while he was hungover!).  Got the temporary repairs done that the horrendous and incredibly British weather has done to our poor flat roof.

What else did i do today?  oh yeah, i made a vat of veggie soup – i “smooshed” it into a thick gloop, was very yum.  am going to get tomorrows lunch out of it too (bargain!)

I have completed Guitar Hero 3 on easy mode!  All songs are 5 star rated and the boss battles complete.  now you would think being a guitarist anyway would help you while playing a guitar playing game.  then think on my friend (friend is quite presumptious i know as there is a good chance i don’t even know you even if you are reading this but i didn’t mean anything by it if you don’t want to be my friend….sorry).  anyway – yes Guitar Hero!  No. not even one little bit has it helped me to be a better “Guitar Hero”.  Sheer determination and a small blister on my right thumb has led me this far.  I am now moving from 3 buttons to 4 buttons on medium level!  all the same songs but harder.  how hard can that be!

what else?  I got my two tone grey/black car washed – it is once again silver thanks to the Estonian immigrants that operate a fine car wash service for just £10 (inside and out!).  the bloody car is in the garage this week hopefully to sort out the problems it is having in starting! 

That’s about it – not a very productive day really but i have enjoyed it so far.  think i may go veg on the sofa and watch crap on TV.
